Organic Duckweed Control With eLemna8

eLemna8 is a revolutionary new tool for controlling duckweed in large ponds, without the use of expensive chemical herbicides!

Duckweed has historically been difficult to treat and only certain aquatic herbicides have proven effective on it. The plant has evolved to withstand many things and it uses a wax like coating to do so.

eLemna8 works by safely stripping this waxy protective coating away from the duckweed plant, which makes it vulnerable to natural degradation or very low level copper treatment.

Now there's no need to use chemical herbicides or suspend or harm the natural biological processes that help to keep a pond cleaner and healthier. eLemna8 is safe for the environment and for fish when used as directed*.

How To Apply

Simply mix 1 part of eLemna8 to 50 parts of water and spray topically on the duckweed. One gallon of eLemna8 when mixed with 50 gallons of water will treat up to 1/2 acre in size.

eLemna8 can be mixed with Earthtec for even quicker control. Mix one part EarthTec to 2 parts of eLemna8 (diluted) and you can eradicate duckweed quickly and effectively.

We generally suggest that many types of plant growth be controlled as early as possible in the growing season. For many types of products, control will be more effective that way. eLemna8 can be used at any time during the year and is not restricted for use at a particular time.

*A Word Of Caution: Although eLemna8 is very safe, as with all "quick kill" treatments we suggest that the pond have very good aeration (which usually means some form of mechanical aeration) running 24/7 to maintain good oxygen levels as the plant dies off. It's best to avoid treating any growth in extremely hot conditions when oxygen would naturally be lower, or treat sections of the growth at a time, over a period of several days if necessary to ensure safety for fish.
