A One-Two Punch For Algae Control!
GreenClean Granular Algaecide is a great new product for controlling algae in water features! This EPA registered product provides extremely fast results in treating both green water and string algae. GreenClean can be used to bring algae problems under control as well as a preventative for future problems. GreenClean works through oxidation which provides immediate control of algae. Dead matter floats to surface where it is removed by skimmer or net. Ideal for use with bacteria. Once GreenClean kills algae, bacteria's go to work cleaning up organic material that caused the algae in the first place. GreenClean does not harm bacterial enzymes and will work great with the Healthy Ponds products found below. Now, we finally have a one-two punch for algae control!
Special Notice: KLM Solutions has been using Green Clean for the past several years and would like to pass on some additional information on the product. We would not advise using Green Clean to control green water, since our results have not been 100% effective and it may require more than the recommended dosage which is safe for fish to acheive results. As with any chemical, discretion should be used when applying the product, follow label directions and use only as necessary. We now exlusively use Green Clean for spot control of algae masses (either surface or string algae) and have been happy with the results. There is little risk of overdosing a pond when Green Clean is used in this way and bio treatments can continue uninterrupted.
